Have you ever looked up your home on Zillow just to see what it’s worth today? There’s something about watching that number go up that feels oddly satisfying. And in a place like Naples, Florida, those numbers can get wild—a property bought decades ago for $1 million is now listed for $285 million.

When did our sense of value become so tied to numbers on a screen? It’s easy to measure success by what something is worth, but what happens when that mindset quietly starts defining what we’re worth too?

Scripture (NIV):

Luke 12:15 — “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”

Where have you been tempted to measure your worth by what you have instead of who you are?

How would your mindset shift if you truly believed your value wasn’t tied to anything you own?
